Equipped with an OptiCube™ lens for a wide beam and delivering a huge 1700-lumens output, you’ll spot every danger on your route well in advance and be seen from very long distances. Cateye has even built this light with a tool-free battery section, so you can carry a spare battery and swap it out on the go if required.

USB Rechargeable

To save you the hassle of constantly having to replace batteries the Volt 1700 is fully rechargeable. To recharge the light you simply have to plug it into any standard USB port. These can be found in multiple different locations including computer desktops, on the side of your laptop, or even as part of your smartphone charger. This creates plenty of quick and easy charging possibilities whilst you’re on the go.

Battery Indicator

To make sure you know when to charge and so that you never get caught out in a black out situation when you’re halfway home the light comes with an easy to use battery light indicator. The indicator works like a traffic light and while in action shows: Orange = battery life 50-31%, Red = battery life 30-16%, and Red Flash = 15% or less.

Five Light Modes

The light comes with five different light modes which can easily be toggled through with the large, single button that has been designed for easy use even when wearing MTB gloves. The modes give you plenty of options to choose between, dependent on your battery life or current cycling light environment.

Easy to Mount

Making things easier than ever the Volt 1700 comes with a Flextight mounting bracket. This allows you to easily install the light onto your handlebars without the use of other tools or parts. The mount provides a secure and robust hold to ensure that the light is stabilised even against all the bumps and potholes of the road.
