Horizon Levelling

In-camera horizon levelling (up to 45% tilt) is now possible with the new Linear + Horizon Levelling digital lens which helps keep your footage stay stable and straight.

TimeWarp 3.0

The HERO9 Black allows you to record incredibly time lapse scenes while you’re on the move. The TimeWarp 3.0 feature condenses time, capturing movements like nothing else. Meanwhile, Speed Ramp I a new capability that lets you select Real Speed (now with audio) or Half Speed while recording.

LiveBurst

The LiveBurst feature records what happens 1.5 seconds before and after your shot.

Scheduled Capture

The Scheduled Capture option allows you to schedule the start time for your shot in advance.

Duration Capture

The Duration Capture feature allows you to choose how long the camera records before automatically stopping.

Night Lapse Video

The Night Lapse Video helps you capture incredible nighttime, time lapse video at night in 4K, 2.7 4:3, 1440p or 1080p, all processed in-camera.

Presets and Custom Presets

The HERO9 Black comes preloaded with recommended video presets for Standard, Activity, Cinematic and Slo-Mo shots. You can also create your own custom presets for quick access to your favourite settings.

Voice Control

Keep your hands free while capturing all the action with the camera’s excellent voice control. The camera comes with 14 easy-to-use voice commands like, “GoPro, take a photo”. The camera understands English (US, UK, AU, and India), Chinese (Mandarin), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (BR), Russian, Spanish (EU and NA), and Swedish.

Portrait Orientation

Data Overlays and GPS

GoPro App
