The Fire Mountain from Kona is a versatile, agile and stylish hardtail mountain bike that’s ideal for singletrack trail riding and laps of your local bike park. It features a Kona 6061 Aluminium frame that’s designed and engineered with modern enduro-inspired geometry in mind. Plus, it’s optimised to be lightweight, durable, fast and agile while also being comfortable for long days in the saddle, rough terrains and fast trail routes. Plus, it features SR Suntour suspension forks, a Microshift wide-ranging 9-Speed drivetrain with an 11-46T cassette and Tektro hydraulic disc brakes, giving you a superb component spec that’s ideal for riding anywhere.

Fast, Agile and Versatile Hardtail Mountain Bike

This Kona classic brings some of the finer things to light. The Fire Mountain is running a smooth-shifting 1×9-Speed drivetrain to keep things manageable across varying terrain and hydraulic disc brakes to stop on a dime. With 100mm of adjustable suspension and sturdy tyres aboard wider 27mm rims, the Fire Mountain helps build confidence off-road. Available for smaller riders in a 26” wheeled XS version and a 27.5” wheel for sizes S-XL.

Microshift Advent 9-Speed Drivetrain

This Kona classic brings some of the finer things to light. The Fire Mountain is equipped with the modern Microshift Advent 9-speed drivetrain that ensures smooth gear shifts while its Tektro hydraulic disc brakes guarantee exceptional braking power in all weather conditions. With adjustable 100mm of Suntour suspension and sturdy WTB tyres aboard wider 27mm rims, the Fire Mountain helps build confidence for riding anywhere on the mountainside.

Kona 6061 Aluminium

Kona 7005 and 6061 Aluminium alloys are used extensively throughout their range of mountain and asphalt bicycles. A tough, durable, light alloy, both Kona 7005 and 6061 deliver fantastic, reliable performance that lasts for thousands of rides. Much of our 7005/6061 tubing is butted and/or formed, meaning the tubing’s wall thickness can be increased or decreased, as well as shaped, so they can fine-tune a particular frame’s strength and ride characteristics depending on its intended application.

Tapered Head Tube

More girth at the bottom of the head tube better distributes shock force, prolonging the bearing life of the headset itself and eliminating brake shudder, while providing confident steering performance. The inherent strength of its triangular design also means a stronger steering position and improved balance, giving the rider more control in rough terrain. A zero-stack, tapered head tube also puts strength where the load is going—into the lower headset cup—maximizing bearing durability where it’s needed.

Easy Assembly

When you order a bike, one of our trained mechanics will carefully prepare and pack your bike for shipping. Upon delivery, the assembly is simple and all necessary tools and plastic pedals are conveniently included in the box.

Depending on the delivery service and destination, bikes will either be delivered in a large or a small box. Below is a guide as to how your bike will arrive:

• All bikes for delivery within the UK and Republic of Ireland will be delivered in a large box, except for balance bikes and BMX bikes, which are always delivered in manufacturer’s boxes.
• All bikes for delivery within the EU on a standard service will be delivered in a large box. If an express delivery option is chosen, your bike will be packed into a small box. Again, the exception is balance bikes and BMX bikes, which are always delivered in manufacturer’s boxes.
• All bikes for worldwide delivery outside the EU will be delivered in small boxes.
