A genuine “go anywhere” adventure bike, the Substance CRX-1 is ready to explore every road, dirt track or gravel trail. Its UD carbon fibre frame and fork is built up with tough Prime Kanza wheels with wide 650b (27.5″) tyres, SRAM Force 1×11 gearing and SRAM Force hydraulic disc brakes.

The Substance CRX-1 is a high-performance adventure gravel bike. Featuring SRAM’s Rival 1 hydraulic groupset, it gives you a gear range that can cope with any terrain. With X-Sync technology from the chainset, powerful disc brakes and a Roller Bearing Clutch on the rear mech, your chain will always stay firmly planted, whatever the adventure.

Wide, High-Grip WTB Gravel Tyres

This highly capable drop-bar bike is fitted with Prime Kanza Aluminium wheels, which are wrapped with big volume WTB Byway TCS 47mm tyres. 650b is perfect for adventure cycling with the large outer diameter keeping your wheels rolling over bumps, whilst the added tyre volume allows you to adjust pressures depending on the terrain for grip, comfort and luggage weight. The finishing kit is made up of a Vitus 6061 aluminium handlebar, stem and seat post. The handlebars feature a flat top section for added comfort on and off-road, with the Substance CRX-1 featuring a 3-degree bar flare.

When you order a bike, one of our trained mechanics will carefully prepare and pack your bike for shipping. Upon delivery, the assembly is simple and all necessary tools are conveniently included in the box.

Depending on the delivery service and destination, bikes will either be delivered in a large or a small box. Below is a guide as to how your bike will arrive:

All bikes for delivery within the UK and Republic of Ireland will be delivered in a large box, except for kids’ bikes and BMX bikes, which are always delivered in manufacturer’s boxes.
All bikes for delivery within the EU on a standard service will be delivered in a large box. Again, the exception is kids’ bikes and BMX bikes, which are always delivered in manufacturer’s boxes.
All bikes for worldwide delivery outside the EU will be delivered in small boxes.
